Carrera per la Solidaritat Valencia 2026: date, schedule and registration

The Carrera per la Solidaritat (Race for Solidarity) returns to Valencia on Sunday 8 November 2026 for its second edition. This year it is held on the Albereda promenade, between the Pont de les Flors and the Pont de l’Exposició, with a competitive 5K at 9:00, two walks and children’s races to close the morning.

The event supports three causes: it raises awareness of ADHD, lung cancer and multiple sclerosis. Everything raised through entries and T-shirt sales goes to research, prevention and the social inclusion of people affected. Registration is open until Thursday 5 November.

Key facts for 2026

• Date: Sunday 8 November 2026.
• Venue: Albereda promenade (Paseo de la Alameda), on the stretch between the Pont de les Flors and the Pont de l’Exposició. Start and finish at the same point.
• Events: 5K race, 5K walk, 2K walk and children’s races.
• Fees: 10 euros for the 5K (race or walk), 5 euros for the 2K walk and 3 euros for the children’s races. The official T-shirt costs 5 euros extra and is bought when you register.
• Registration: until 5 November, on Sportmaniacs.
• Organiser: Valencia City Council, through the Fundació Esportiva Municipal (FDM), with the support of the Fundación Trinidad Alfonso.

Schedule

• 9:00: 5K race.
• 9:05: 5K walk.
• 9:30: 2K walk.
• From 10:20: children’s races by age group: under-14 (1 km), under-12 (800 m), under-10 (600 m), under-8 (400 m) and under-6 (200 m).

Where the money goes

When you register you choose the cause you want to support: it receives 70% of your fee, and the remaining 30% is split equally between the other two. The partner organisations are:

• ADHD: Associació +16 TDAH València.
• Lung cancer: the Spanish Association of People Affected by Lung Cancer (AEACaP).
• Multiple sclerosis: the Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis research group at the La Fe Health Research Institute, which works with the patient associations ACVEM and ADEMVA.

If you are not going to run or walk, you can still donate with a Dorsal 0 (virtual bib), from 5 euros.

Bib collection

• Friday 6 November, 16:00 to 20:00, at the Intersport store in the Parque Ademuz shopping centre.
• Saturday 7 November, 10:00 to 20:00, same place.
• Sunday 8, race day, from 7:45 in the area set up next to the start.

The organisers will explain what you need to collect someone else’s bib.

The first edition

The first Carrera per la Solidaritat was held in June 2025, starting on the Bulevard Sud and crossing the Pont de la Solidaritat to La Torre. It brought together three charity races that used to be held separately, drew close to 2,200 entrants and raised 22,571 euros for the three causes. That year there was also a 10K, won by Iban Fernández (34:11) and Alva Svensk (38:14); the 5K went to José Teller (16:27) and Mireia Crespo (19:22). In 2026 the only competitive distance is the 5K.
