What this means

Some articles on this site include links to products on Amazon: running shoes, GPS watches, technical clothing, hydration gear and sports nutrition. If you buy through one of them, Amazon pays a small commission on that sale.

The price you pay is exactly the same, whether you use one of these links or go to Amazon directly. There is no surcharge or added cost of any kind for you.

How products are chosen

Links are added to products that were already mentioned in the articles. The content is written first and only then, if the product exists on Amazon, a link is added. Never the other way round: no article is written in order to sell something.

Commissions do not influence what is recommended or the order in which products appear. If an article says a shoe does not convince me, it will keep saying so even if it carries a link.

How to spot these links

Every affiliate link is marked with rel="nofollow sponsored", the standard way of flagging a paid link, and opens in a new tab. Articles containing one also show a visible notice.
