A route through the Sierra de Embún

The race featured a revised, more mountainous route of almost 11 kilometres with 600 metres of elevation gain. From the village, runners headed towards the Sierra de Embún and climbed along the Camino del Betato to Punta Aseras before descending again.

The route followed trails prepared for the occasion. At its highest point, runners could see the western Pyrenees, with good weather throughout the day.

Food and music after the race

The second edition kept its Halloween theme and brought together runners from all three Aragonese provinces, Navarre, the Basque Country and Catalonia, as well as participants from places as far away as Málaga and Gijón.

The community meal brought together 300 people. In the afternoon, the local festivities committee organised performances by Au d’Asti and La Txama, followed by a DJ set from Albertín. The Asociación Cultural Espelungas de Embún and local residents also helped make the day possible.
